About the Role

A design-led, collaborative architecture studio is looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to help drive its growing Western Australia presence. This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a leadership position while remaining hands-on in project work and design excellence. The right candidate will balance project delivery with practice development, playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the Perth studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design and documentation of a wide range of architectural projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project alignment and quality outcomes
  • Represent the studio in client meetings, workshops, and site visits
  • Work with senior leadership to support business development pursuits and strategic submissions
  • Maintain a 50/50 focus across design/project work and the generation of new opportunities (submissions, BD, practice growth)

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture
  • Registered Architect in Western Australia (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in architecture, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and delivery
  • Strong design sensibility with excellent communication and documention (Hospitality, Resorts and Gaming, Defence, Data Centres, Energy, Transport, Infrastructure, Airports)
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives independently
  • Experience or ambition to develop client relationships and secure new work is highly regarded
