About the job Accountant
Requirements
- Certified accountant (IHK) with in-depth knowledge of accounting. Knowledge of ERP systems (we use SAP Business One)
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills and interest in process optimization.
- SQL knowledge and DATEV certification are an advantage.
- Knowledge of tax law and compliance is a plus.
- Responsible, detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to lead and work closely with cross-functional teams and bring creativity and flexibility to problem solving.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual financial statements for external tax advisors. Management of profit and loss statements and overseeing financial data analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Monthly cost analysis and detailed financial reporting.
- Management and development of the accounting department.
- Handling of ongoing business transactions and company accounts.
- Optimization of accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP Business One).
- Management of the entire accounting system in-house with the aim of rationalization and minimizing external handover to tax advisors.
