About the Job:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant to support our client's healthcare team in daily clinic operations and deliver excellent patient service. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining treatment authorizations, assisting with billing tasks such as claim submission and EOB resolution, handling calls and patient inquiries, updating EHR records, and ensuring timely follow-ups and efficient administrative processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to US healthcare practices while contributing to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage before appointments
  • Secure treatment authorizations and approvals as required
  • Submit claims, respond to claim denials, and resolve EOB-related issues
  • Identify and help resolve common billing concerns and discrepancies
  • Manage patient calls, including inquiries, appointment scheduling and confirmations, pre-exam information gathering, and call routing
  • Process incoming mail, upload and document information in the EHR system, and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate patient and administrative records to support daily clinic operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Medical-Allied course.
  • Open to fresh graduates; prior experience is not required as training will be provided.
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, healthcare documentation, and common clinical procedures.
  • Proficient in computer applications and comfortable using EHR systems.
  • Able to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic clinic environment.
  • Willing to work US hours (graveyard shift).
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Can start immediately, if possible.
