About the Job:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Site Safety Officer 2 (SO2) to support our client's solar project operations by ensuring efficient site coordination and administrative compliance. In this role, you will assist in the daily oversight of on-site activities, including workforce logistics, contractor coordination, procurement tracking, and safety monitoring. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, supporting inventory management, and helping ensure that operations comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The SO2 will also contribute to HSE reporting, site inspections, and the resolution of non-compliance issues. Acting as a vital link between the site, contractors, and head office, you will help keep the project aligned with timelines and quality benchmarks. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; OSH Certification is required.
• 3+ years of work experience as a Safety officer 2, with a background in solar project/s.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and motivational drive, fostering a collaborative and trusting team environment.
• Expertise in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ensuring efficient and effective task execution.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Can start immediately if possible.
