About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Corporate HSE Manager to lead and oversee the organization's health, safety, and environmental programs at a strategic level. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and continuously improving HSE policies, systems, and governance frameworks across all business units and project locations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards while aligning HSE initiatives with corporate objectives. A key responsibility includes conducting corporate-level audits, inspections, and risk assessments, as well as providing expert guidance to project HSE teams. Strong exposure to corporate or holdings/parent company setups is highly preferred, as the role requires cross-functional coordination and consistency across multiple entities. The Corporate HSE Manager will also be tasked with monitoring incident trends, recommending corrective actions, and supporting safety leadership programs. The role demands excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSH, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience as an HSE Manager, with at least 5 years in a corporate or group-level capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine HSE laws and regulations, and exposure to international standards and best practices.
- Experience working in holding companies, conglomerates, or organizations with multiple operating entities is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to design and implement governance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and influence cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant national laws and regulations governing HSE practices on large construction projects.
- Possesses excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
