About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Tax Manager to join our client's team and lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. In this role, you will support clients by providing expert guidance on complex tax matters, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing tax positions. You will oversee teams of Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers, allocating work based on capacity and capabilities, while coaching and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality outputs. Leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will drive client engagement, solve complex tax issues, and foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate discussions to allocate tasks based on team capacity and skills.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop teams to deliver exceptional tax deliverables.
- Manage client service accounts and oversee client engagement workstreams.
- Provide guidance and conduct quality reviews for Senior Associates and Managers.
- Independently analyze complex tax issues and develop practical, actionable solutions.
- Ensure all client deliverables meet firm standards and client service expectations.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and collaboration within the team.
- Uphold professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Accountancy; CPA certification required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in tax services, compliance, or advisory.
- Experience managing client service accounts and engagement workstreams.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach teams for career and skill development.
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex tax issues and provide actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Can start immediately, if possible.
