About the Job:

We are looking for a Virtual Medical Scribe to join our client's healthcare support team and assist U.S.-based physicians in documenting patient consultations and medical examinations. In this role, you will work closely with doctors during patient encounters, accurately recording clinical findings, treatment plans, and other essential medical information. You will also help ensure patient records are complete, test results are properly documented, and prescriptions are processed efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to U.S. healthcare practices while contributing to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document patient encounters, examination findings, and treatment plans in real time.
  • Accurately update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ensure laboratory results, diagnostic reports, and other relevant documents are included in patient charts.
  • Assist physicians by identifying and communicating missing information needed for diagnosis, treatment, and billing.
  • Support prescription processing and documentation activities.
  • Maintain accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure efficient and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow healthcare documentation standards and compliance requirements.
  • Adapt to varying physician workflows and medical specialties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year Allied Medical course such as Nursing, Medical Technology, and Pharmacy.
  • Previous medical scribing, healthcare documentation, or clinical experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent active listening, typing, and auditory processing skills.
  • Ability to document accurately while listening to live patient consultations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willing to work onsite in McKinley, Taguig.
  • Willing to work night shifts supporting U.S.-based physicians.
