Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) | Hybrid Setup - Up to 130K Salary

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our clients global Cloud Operations team. You will provide Level 3 systems support, build and maintain Azure environments, and ensure operational excellence across multi-client cloud services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and driving continuous improvement in line with ITIL standards. You will also mentor peers, manage client engagements, and contribute to strategic discussions shaping cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 IT systems support for managed public cloud services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Lead automation, scripting, and IaC initiatives using Terraform, PowerShell, or Python.
• Review project designs, migration plans, and technical change requests.
• Develop operational documentation, diagrams, and best practices.
• Engage with clients through reviews, workshops, and regular communication.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and escalation support to the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years IT experience, with 3+ years in Microsoft Azure projects
• Expertise in scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and GitOps principles.
• Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment supporting multiple clients.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS infrastructure management or hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with automation pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud-native DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Linux, Kubernetes, or cloud security best practices.
• Demonstrated experience providing mentorship or leadership within technical teams.
• Can start immediately, if possible.
