About the Job:
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our client's team and support day-to-day financial planning and administrative activities. In this role, you will maintain client information, prepare reports and documents, assist with client research, and support financial planning and investment-related tasks. You will work closely with the team to ensure information is accurate, organized, and completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update client information in CRM and document management systems.
- Perform data entry and ensure client records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare reports using CRM systems and provider portals.
- Prepare, format, and edit letters, documents, emails, and client correspondence.
- Assist with client research and gather required information and documents.
- Research financial concepts, superannuation, retirement, and tax strategies.
- Review and interpret financial and tax documents related to client investments.
- Support financial planning and investment-related activities.
- Assist with business requirements, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Provide support for projects and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within the financial planning industry.
- Good numerical and logical reasoning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Australian superannuation, Centrelink, and investment products is an advantage.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in wealth management and financial planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication (written & verbal) skills.
