About the Job:

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our client's team and support day-to-day financial planning and administrative activities. In this role, you will maintain client information, prepare reports and documents, assist with client research, and support financial planning and investment-related tasks. You will work closely with the team to ensure information is accurate, organized, and completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update client information in CRM and document management systems.
  • Perform data entry and ensure client records are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare reports using CRM systems and provider portals.
  • Prepare, format, and edit letters, documents, emails, and client correspondence.
  • Assist with client research and gather required information and documents.
  • Research financial concepts, superannuation, retirement, and tax strategies.
  • Review and interpret financial and tax documents related to client investments.
  • Support financial planning and investment-related activities.
  • Assist with business requirements, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Provide support for projects and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within the financial planning industry.
  • Good numerical and logical reasoning skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Australian superannuation, Centrelink, and investment products is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise in wealth management and financial planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication (written & verbal) skills.
