LPL specializes in the design, new construction, maintenance, and renovation of material handling, further processing, and storage facilities in the agricultural sector. We are a family-owned and operated business and have been providing experienced welding services to the Ag Industry for over 20 years in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing welding operations based on the specific project requirements.

  • Must interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures to understand the requirements and specifications of the project.

  • Choose the appropriate welding technique.

  • Prepare the materials that need to be joined. This involves cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal parts to fit the required dimensions and ensuring that the surfaces are free from impurities and contaminants.

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as well as brazing and soldering equipment

  • Inspects the joint to check for defects or imperfections.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.

Salary: We offer a range between $31.00 - 38.00 / hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 10% gross salary, living out allowance and travel pay

Job Type: Full-time permanent, we guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week
