Journeyman Automotive Technician

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proven mechanical abilities in Gas and Diesel automotive repairs

• Inspect and test motors, road test vehicles, and use diagnostic tools to identify faults

• Adjust, repair, or replace automotive system components using hand tools and specialized equipment

• Test and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications

• Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups

• Advise customers on repairs, vehicle condition, and future needs.

• Effectively communicate both verbally and writing, computer proficient

Qualifications:

• Licenced Journeyman or ability to obtain certification from previous experience

• Red Seal certification preferred

• CVIP Licence would be an asset

• Valid class 5 drivers license or equivalent with a clean abstract

Salary: $38.00/hour
