Recrutis is supporting one of its clients, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company, in the search for a Planning Engineer, based in Visp (Valais, Switzerland), as part of a consulting mission on large-scale CAPEX projects.

Key information

  • Location: Visp, Valais, Switzerland — on-site presence.
  • Contract: consulting mission.
  • Start: priority project from end of June (long duration); a second CAPEX project running until end of January.
  • Seniority: minimum 10 years of relevant planning experience.
  • Languages: English mandatory; German a plus (not required).

Scope

  • Build, maintain and update detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Track progress, critical path and milestones across CAPEX work packages.
  • Produce planning reports and forecasts for project leadership.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs from engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation / recovery plans.
  • Support interface management across disciplines and contractors.
  • Maintain alignment between baseline and actual progress.

Profile — Required criteria (knockout)

  • Minimum 10 years of planning / project controls experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Experience planning large-scale CAPEX projects (€250M+ scale).
  • Experience in pharma, biotech or comparable highly regulated industrial construction.
  • English at professional working level (mandatory).
  • Availability for on-site presence in Visp, Valais.

Strong assets — Differentiators

  • German language skills.
  • Experience on GMP / regulated manufacturing facility projects.
  • Familiarity with EPCM project environments.
  • Integrated cost and schedule control experience.
  • Professional planning / project-controls certification.
