AmeriCorps Position: One-More-Time Shop, Capacity-Building Member

Service Site: Oklahoma Performing Arts (OPA)
Reports to: Trained OPA Site Supervisors
Service Focus: Building sustainable systems, processes, and partnerships for the One More Time
Shop to expand OPAs ability to support youth and families.

Position Purpose

The Member will strengthen OPAs long-term capacity by developing the infrastructure of the One More Time ShopOPAs growing resource center providing performing arts supplies and essential items to families. The Member will build sustainable organizational systems, enhance donation pipelines, coordinate volunteers, and establish operating procedures that will endure beyond the service term.

Allowed Capacity-Building Activities

• Develop inventory management systems for performing arts supplies, hygiene items, snacks, and in-kind donations. 
• Create standardized intake forms, distribution logs, and reporting templates using Google for Nonprofits Education. 
• Establish shop organization processes, labeling systems, and safety protocols that can be maintained by staff/volunteers.
• Build relationships with businesses, civic groups, and donors to expand sustainable in-kind and material support.
• Develop and promote donation drives and community engagement strategies. 
• Create volunteer training materials and scheduling systems; support volunteer coordination (not supervision).
• Draft written procedures, manuals, and sustainability plans for long-term shop operations.
• Track shop utilization trends and prepare capacity-building reports for OPA leadership.

• No fundraising solicitation
• No political, religious, or advocacy activities.
