Service Commitment
This position requires 40 hours per week of on-site service at RSVP of Central Oklahoma during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. The term of service will align with Oklahoma Opportunities AmeriCorps requirements. Remote service is not permitted.
This position will start their 300-hour term no sooner than May 26 and no later than June 8.
Compensation
$714.28 will be paid to the AmeriCorps Member bi-weekly with a $1,565 end-of-term education award paid after completing 300 hours of service.
Position Summary
The Oklahoma Opportunities AmeriCorps Member will support RSVP of Central Oklahoma by strengthening internal administrative systems and operational processes. This is a capacity-building position focused on improving documentation and compliance accuracy, data management, workflow efficiency, and support volunteer engagement and programming. The Member will not provide direct service to clients and will not displace staff or volunteers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Systems Support – 35%
- Organize and standardize internal administrative documents and forms
- Develop written process guides for volunteer onboarding and documentation workflows
- Maintain digital filing systems for partner agreements and program records
- Assist in improving scheduling systems and internal communication processes
Data and Reporting Support – 30%
- Enter and maintain accurate volunteer and program data in Bloomerang CRM
- Assist with tracking volunteer service hours and client counts
- Support preparation of internal monthly and quarterly reports
- Review data entries for completeness and consistency
Compliance and Documentation Support – 30%
- Maintain accurate AmeriCorps service logs
- Participate in regular supervision meetings
- Ensure all activities align with AmeriCorps regulations and prohibited activity guidelines
- Assist with tracking required background check documentation
Professional Development – 5%
- Participate in required AmeriCorps and Red River Community Corps trainings
- Engage in ongoing learning related to nonprofit administration and program systems
Activities This Position Will Not Perform
This role does not include direct client services, fundraising or grant writing, political or advocacy activities, primary volunteer supervision, or any activities prohibited under AmeriCorps regulations. All service must be completed on-site.
Supervision
The Member will be supervised by the Executive Director. Weekly supervision meetings will review assignments, service hours, and performance expectations. Ongoing guidance and feedback will be provided to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to follow structured procedures and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Interest in nonprofit administration or public service
- Experience with data entry or CRM systems
- Strong written communication skills
