About Eye to Eye Marriage
Eye to Eye Marriage (E2EM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching marriages through relationship-building and community support. Our mission is to transform Oklahoma City by providing couples with a like-minded, like-hearted community focused on leaving a legacy of lifelong marriages. We achieve this through a continuous spectrum of offerings, including the Sweetheart Ball, Marriage Building Workshops, Marriage Retreats, and community engagements such as our Family Picnic and Pickleball Tournament.
Position Summary
The Volunteer Infrastructure Coordinator is a capacity-building role designed to transition E2EM from informal outreach to a structured, sustainable volunteer department. The Member will be responsible for "architecting" the systems and recruitment pipelines necessary to scale our impact. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships between E2EM and residents of the Oklahoma City metro, with a specific emphasis on military families at Tinker AFB and participants in the True Dads and YMCA of Oklahoma County initiatives, as well as partner churches.
Responsibilities and Duties (Capacity Building)
- Infrastructure Development: Research and implement a centralized Volunteer Management System (VMS), integrating tools such as Givebutter, Google Workspace, and Squarespace.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Develop a Volunteer Management Handbook and orientation materials to ensure consistent onboarding and safety protocols.
- Recruitment: Act as an ambassador to recruit 10+ new Power Couples from past E2EM participants, military, faith-based, and corporate sectors, and key stakeholders within the YMCA, Tinker AFB, and Oklahoma City Metro area.
- Training Development: Create a written training manual and orientation video for new volunteers.
- Event Coordination: Streamline volunteer logistics for the annual Sweetheart Ball and community workshops.
- Outreach: Conduct presentations and "coffee/lunch" recruitment meetings with potential organizational partners.
Service Schedule and Environment
- Service Model: This position utilizes a "Hub-and-Spoke" model. Administrative work will be performed at professional hubs including the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits (OKCNP) and our partnering church office.
- Schedule: Flexible daytime hours (Mon-Thu) with required in-person attendance at a few workshops and community events (e.g., June 27 Family Picnic, July 20 Pickleball Tournament).
- Compliance: All service activities must be performed at designated, non-residential host site locations; teleservice is only permitted for specific, pre-approved system-building tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing, Family Studies, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Demonstrated interest in nonprofit community outreach through coursework, volunteerism, or internships.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, including the ability to translate project results into impact statements.
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent Eye to Eye Marriage professionally to diverse stakeholders and community leaders.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing social media platforms to drive community engagement.
- Familiarity with Givebutter, CRM systems, or digital fundraising platforms is a distinct plus.
Community Understanding: Must possess a deep commitment to the E2EM mission and a heart for serving the unique needs of families within the Oklahoma City metro, particularly in high need and military communities.
Desired Characteristics
The successful candidate will demonstrate faithfulness, honesty, integrity, and a mission-driven mindset. This individual must be flexible, pleasant in demeanor, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet strategic deadlines
Compliance Note: This position is subject to a three-part National Service Criminal History Check (NSCHC).
