About the job Digital Literacy Coach
The Bristow Public Library is seeking a Digital Literacy Coach. The key role of this position is to assist adult learners in developing digital literacy skills.
The following skills and qualifications are desired.
- Ability to work with adult populations from various backgrounds, with special attention to the specialized needs of adult Digital Literacy Learners.
- Service-driven and collaborative team player.
- Strong professional digital skills (Email, the Internet, and professional applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent).
- Effective written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to develop curricula for Digital Literacy Learners.
- Ability to correspond with various institutional and non-profit stakeholders and partnering organizations.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (if applicable).
- Ability to maintain, complete, and file reports in a timely manner is required.
- Data entry experience preferred, but not required.
This position is an AmeriCorps public service position; as such, members will receive a living stipend and educational award for their service. Additional grants cover the costs of curricula, technology, training, and other items necessary for the program facilitators.
