Service Focus: Youth Mentoring & Life Skills Program Capacity Building

Position Summary

The AmeriCorps Member will support the growth and effectiveness of mentoring and lifeskills programs serving youth in group homes, treatment centers, and juvenile detention facilities. This role focuses on strengthening volunteer systems, program organization, and data tracking to increase program sustainability and reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and communication
• Organize and update mentoring and life-skills curriculum materials
• Support program scheduling and coordination logistics
• Track volunteer engagement and program participation data
• Help develop and improve volunteer training resources
• Assist with partnership communication and follow-up
• Support program supply organization and resource systems

Capacity Building Impact

This role strengthens internal systems, volunteer engagement, and program structure, allowing staff to focus on direct youth mentoring while expanding overall program reach.
