We are currently seeking a Knowledge Manager to join our team at Reston, VA in support of NGIC. NGIC is the Defense Department's primary producer of ground forces intelligence. NGIC produces scientific and technical intelligence and military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces required by warfighting commanders, the force modernization and research and development communities, Department of Defense, and national policymakers.
- Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in a variety of intelligence disciplines and activities.
- Activities include, but are not limited to, reviewing documents for accuracy and responding to staff requests on accessing, coordinating, consolidating or formatting; assisting with administration and management of RFIs, task actions, reports, and briefings; preparing correspondence and other documents needed to support the management of the program and associated activities; creating read-ahead documents, coordinating with security to ensure guests have appropriate access, and building read ahead books or material for official functions and meetings; and providing cross-domain data transfer and intelligence dissemination support.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience promoting knowledge sharing through operational business processes and systems; and improving integration among information systems to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems
- At least 3 years of experience with SharePoint custom development and architecture
- At least 3 years of experience building out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions
- Ability to translate client, stakeholder, and end user's needs and requirements and recommend actionable solutions
- Ability to work with web development tools and languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
- Ability to create data visualizations and metrics based on client requirements in COTS tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI With a CI Polygraph security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences
- Experience reviewing documents for accuracy and responding to requests on accessing, formatting, coordinating, and consolidating
- Experience assisting with administration and management of RFIs, task actions, reports, and briefings, and providing intelligence dissemination support
- Experience building read ahead books or material for official functions and meetings
- Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Knowledge of IC analytic tradecraft standards and processes
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
