Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Handler to join our team in a dynamic food processing plant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of food production processes while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food industry regulations and practices, as well as the ability to operate various machinery safely.

Duties

• Operate and maintain equipment used in food processing, including forklifts and other machinery.
• Assist in the fabrication of food products according to established recipes and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP standards, and CGMP practices throughout the production process.
• Monitor production lines for quality assurance, ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food processing plant or similar food production environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.
