Property & Education Business

Location: Glasgow City Centre HQ

Type: Full-Time

Salary: £27,000£30,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

About the Company

This is a modern, fast-growing property and education business built on startup principles. They operate outside the traditional estate agency model, buying properties directly, running auctions, packaging investment portfolios, and delivering property education.

Content plays a critical role in their growth. They are now seeking a social media marketer to take full ownership of their organic content strategy and execution.


Role Overview

This is a hands-on role for someone confident in both strategy and execution. Youll lead the companys presence across all major social platforms and play a key role in shaping how the brand is seen and heard online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day content posting, engagement, and community interaction across all social platforms
  • Collaborate with the in-house videographer and Head of Growth to plan and execute content campaigns
  • Design social assets and thumbnails using Canva, Photoshop, or a similar tool
  • Write engaging copy for social posts, captions, hooks, and calls to action
  • Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and seasonal activity
  • Repurpose long-form video, property features, podcasts, and educational content into platform-native formats
  • Monitor performance analytics and report on content effectiveness
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across property, education, and investment

Candidate Requirements

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record managing and growing organic social media channels
  • Strong design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
  • Excellent copywriting skills tailored to social platforms
  • In-depth understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Confident working collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Comfortable visiting properties and capturing on-site content independently

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous agency or freelance background
  • Experience within property, real estate, or personal branding
  • Understanding of podcast repurposing, YouTube growth strategies, or short-form video editing
  • Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Notion, ChatGPT, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite
