Contract Details: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the farm
- Manage and supervise a team of farm workers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of crops, livestock, and farm equipment
- Monitor and analyze crop yields, production costs, and market trends to make informed decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute farm activities, such as planting, harvesting, and irrigation
- Maintain accurate records of farm operations, including inventory, expenses, and sales
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in agriculture to improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a managerial role in agriculture
- Extensive knowledge of crop production, livestock management, and farm operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
- Knowledge of local and international agricultural markets is a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
