Business Development Manager SSIT
The successful candidate will develop more logistics business by hunting for new clients. While their focus should be at least minimum 75% on Ship Spares logistics/Ship Spares in Transit, they should also be able to sell and develop traditional Freight Forwarding business and other products from UAEs Logistics portfolio.
As part of their duties, he/she will promote Logistics Services through commercial activities such as sales call visit (Locally & Overseas), conduct telemarketing to develop the business and actively be involved in CRM activities with the objective of customer retention and loyalty.
The candidate will also provide support to prepare, submit and follow-up on quotations and meet sales KPI and Targets.
The candidate is expected to have:
Excellent contacts in the maritime industry
Business Development responsibility identifies and target new customers for our ship spare forwarding business.
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to expand the business portfolio
Respond to Spot/RFP/RFQs from customers, lead client engagements.
Responsible for developing local relationships and business development opportunities with strategically important customer
Support Business Development colleagues across the globe in relevant and appropriate sales engagements
Qualifications and Skills:
At least 3 years experience and a very strong background in international trade and logistics, with a Ship Spare Forwarder
Proven experience of successfully working with customers to understand their supply chain challenges
Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute towards the development and implementation of value creating supply chain solutions for customers
Expert knowledge and understanding of Clients UAE networks and global service capabilities.
Good understanding of the commercial objectives underpinning the sales process
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Capable of articulating an added value proposition at a senior level
The ideal candidate would be dynamic, a great hunter, results oriented to achieve targets and KPIs and have solid experience in business development for logistics. Other competencies include effective communication skills for negotiation and presentation, driven and the ability to self-motivate, good commercial acumen, effective task prioritization and effective interpersonal skills.
Salary - 15000aed to 18000aed pm All Inclusive
