Key Responsibilities:

• Design and formulate perfumes by blending various natural and synthetic ingredients.
• Test and refine scents to ensure the desired fragrance profile is achieved.
• Stay updated on fragrance materials, their properties, and their interactions.
• Analyze current fragrance trends and consumer preferences to create competitive products.
• Work with product developers, brand managers, and R&I to meet the requirements.
• Ensure fragrance formulas comply with safety and industry regulations (e.g., IFRA guidelines).
• Evaluate fragrances in different conditions (e.g., on skin, in fabric, over time) to assess longevity and stability.
• Maintain detailed records of formulas, ingredient proportions, and production processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to detect and distinguish between hundreds of different scent notes.
• Develop unique and appealing fragrance compositions.
• Understanding of chemistry, particularly about aromatic compounds.
• Precision in measuring and blending ingredients.
• Ability to translate client needs into fragrance solutions.
• Awareness of fragrance trends, ingredients, and regulations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field (preferred).
• Specialized training at perfume schools like ISIPCA (France)
• Hands-on experience in fragrance labs in the perfume industry.

• People working in fragrance houses, cosmetic companies, or personal care product manufacturing are preferred.
