Construction, Building and Maintenance

Remington College is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction, Building, and Maintenance Company to join our team in Maple Heights, Ohio. This is a part-time contract position with the potential for growth and advancement within the company. As a Construction, Building, and Maintenance Company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, building maintenance, and repairs for our campus. This includes managing a team of contractors and maintenance staff, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining the safety and functionality of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all construction projects, including new building construction, renovations, and repairs. - Oversee building maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep. - Hire, train, and manage a team of contractors and maintenance staff. - Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets. - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. - Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility needs. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of all projects and maintenance activities. - Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years experience in construction, building, and maintenance management. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent project management and organizational abilities. - In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. - Experience with budget management and cost control. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Flexibility to work on-call and outside of regular business hours as needed.
