Primary Function

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled developer with a proven track record in building responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our digital presence, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and user experience.

Duties & Responsibilities



Front-End Development

1. Develop responsive and visually appealing websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
2. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and develop responsive websites for mobile devices.
3. Collaborate with Graphic / Figma designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
   

Back-End Development

1. Build and maintain server-side logic using programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
2. Develop and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
3. Implement APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance website functionality.
   

Content Management

1. Customize and manage content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
2. Create, edit, and publish website content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
3. Must have experience with Elementor and building templates using static vs dynamic fields.
   

Website Optimization

1. Optimize website performance, including page load speed and overall user experience.
2. Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues.
3. Implement SEO best practices, such as proper meta tags, ALTs, structured data, and clean code.
   

Collaboration

1. Work closely with marketing, design, and other teams to align web development efforts with business goals.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
3. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
   

Testing and Maintenance

1. Test websites for usability, functionality, and performance across multiple devices and browsers.
2. Monitor website uptime, security, and performance, and address issues promptly.
3. Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure they remain secure and up to date.




Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js).
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, SEO principles, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., VS Code, Webpack).
• Knowledge of web security best practices and data protection standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for web development and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.
