Role: Agile Business Analyst
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary

Job Description

  • Client Requirements Elicitation: Work directly with business stakeholders, end-users, and product owners to capture, analyze, and document complex business requirements for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Artifact Creation: Distil high-level client needs into clear, structured, and actionable artifacts, including:

         - User Stories (with acceptance criteria).

         - Functional/Non-Functional Specifications.

         - Process Flows and UML diagrams.

         - Wireframes/Mock-ups where required.

  • Agile Workflow Management: Own the backlog refinement process. Create, manage, and groom the backlog in JIRA (or similar tool), ensuring tickets are properly sized, prioritized, and ready for development sprints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact for the engineering teams' 

         - Dev Team: Clarify feature scope, resolve questions on user stories, and manage scope changes.

         - Integration/DevOps Teams: Ensure infrastructure and integration requirements (e.g., HL7/FHIR messaging, cloud environment setup) a recaptured as clear technical tasks and dependencies.

  • Acceptance & Validation: Define testing scenarios and actively participate inUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the delivered solution meets theoriginal business requirements and quality standards. 
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including feature documentation and release notes, ensuring knowledge transfer to support and training teams.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking a proactive BA with 4+ years of experience in a technical or business analyst role, with a proven ability to manage complex backlogs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile Expertise: Extensive experience working in a dedicated Scrum or Kanban framework, including running backlog refinement and planning sessions.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers, specifically related to:
       - APIs and Integration services (REST, SOAP).
       - Data flow and messaging (experience in healthcare/government is a major plus).
       - Software deployment and infrastructure (DevOps concepts).
  • Tool Proficiency: Expert-level experience with JIRA and Confluence for ticket creation, workflow management, and documentation.
  • Analytical Skill: Proven ability to apply critical thinking and analysis to resolve conflicting requirements and translate ambiguous goals into concrete, quantifiable tasks.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills necessary to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical clients/stakeholders.
  • Domain Focus (Preferred): Experience working with clients in highly regulated or complex environments, such as Healthcare (EHR/EMR), Government, or Finance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field is preferred.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Formal certification in Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA CBAP, CCBA) or Agile/Scrum(e.g., Scrum Master certification). 
  • Direct experience analyzing requirements related to HL7/FHIR or other data standards. 
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) for wireframing.
