Role: Curriculum Redesign Specialist (US Science Teacher)
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 11:00pm - 8:00am Philippine time
Work Setup: Work-from-Office (San Fernando, Pampanga)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Curriculum Analysis & Revision
- Review lessons, instructional materials, and teacher support documents with precision.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement based on feedback.
- Ensure revisions align with learning objectives, standards, and best practices.
Integration of Teaching Team Recommendations
- Consolidate and prioritize input from the teaching team into actionable changes.
- Translate complex feedback into clear, implementable curriculum adjustments.
Instructional Guidance & Communication
- Evaluate when and how instructional guidance is delivered to teachers for maximum effectiveness.
- Refine or redesign teacher support structures (guides, pacing tools, resources, and communication channels) to ensure clarity, usability, and timely delivery.
Structural & Architectural Thinking
- Develop frameworks that balance lesson-level detail with overarching curriculum strategy.
- Create scalable systems for instructional support that anticipate teacher needs and reduce barriers to implementation.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with educators, subject-matter experts, and instructional designers to ensure coherence and quality.
- Establish processes for ongoing feedback and iterative improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a middle school science teacher (grades 6-8).
- Familiarity with the US middle school curriculum (highly preferred)
- Strong background in curriculum design and instructional support.
- Ability to analyze materials with attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
- Hands-on experience in curriculum writing, redesign, or lesson plan development.
- Excellent written communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing user-friendly teacher resources and systems is a strong plus.
- Experience working/teaching US-based students is a plus.
- Amenable to working on a graveyard shift and working on an on-site setup (San Fernando, Pampanga)
