Role: HR - Payroll Assistant

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Philippine time
Work Setup: WFO
Summary:
As a Payroll Assistant, you will facilitate the weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly Daily time record for on time processing of payroll. You will gather, arranges, summarizes employee attendance such as number of late, leave, absences, Official Business (OB), and Overtime submitted by employees per cut-off period. You will address any discrepancies and misconduct time keeping incurred by employees for immediate action and will have to inform and coordinate this with your immediate supervisor as well. You will report directly to the head of HR and General Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle pay slip deduction, inquiries, and concerns from the employee.
- Ensure that unauthorized leaves and absences are monitored daily, submission of IR must be accomplished if there are violations made.
- Acts as Liaison or representative to the government agencies such as SSS/PHIC/HDMF for monitoring of documents, updates (employment status) and any transactions purposes.
- Assists in processing of loans and claims for SSS and HDMF.
- Process Insurance of employees and medical reimbursement.
- Manage and assist in monthly payment and posting of government mandated benefits.
- Facilitate the processing and computation of employee SSS maternity and sickness benefits.
- Acknowledged and sign any work order form for attendance employee monitoring.
- Provide monthly tally sheet for number of late for issuance of disciplinary actions.
- Maintain confidentiality for internal and external records.
- Monitors daily attendance of all employees through biometrics vs. log sheet.
- Manage the pay slip deduction inquiries and concerns from the employee.
- Conducting Orientation for newly hired about benefits.
- Ensures orderly filing of documents.
- Perform other task/functions as maybe assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy /Banking, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration, or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience as HR handling Compensation and Benefits.
- BPO or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in conducting orientation for newly hired.
- Experience in validating government numbers.
- Experience in preparing Monthly government dues
- Experience in monitoring of posting of benefits such as SSS, HDMF Loans and Contributions and Phil health contribution of all employees.
- Experience processing insurance of employees and medical reimbursement.
