Construction Estimator

Job Title: Construction Estimator 

Job Description:
A construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator with strong knowledge of stack takeoffs and construction estimating. 

Key Responsibilities:

~Perform stack takeoffs from construction drawings and project plans

~Prepare accurate material and labor estimates for framing, Sheetrock, and related scopes

~Develop and submit project proposals and cost breakdowns

~Communicate with lumber yards and subcontractors to obtain pricing and material lists

~Review architectural and construction plans to ensure accurate scope coverage

Requirements:

~Experience with stack takeoffs and construction estimating

~Knowledge of framing, drywall/Sheetrock, and general construction materials

~Ability to prepare professional proposals and material lists

~Construction industry experience is required

~Experience working with estimating software or digital takeoff tools
