Construction Estimator (Commercial Drywall & Framing)

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial drywall, framing, metal stud framing, and interior systems projects, with a strong understanding of U.S.-based construction practices.

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, performing material takeoffs, reviewing blueprints and construction drawings, and supporting project coordination for commercial construction projects. Experience working with New York City construction or framing companies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare project estimates and bid proposals
• Perform material takeoffs from blueprints and drawings
• Review construction plans and specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Assist with budgeting and cost analysis
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
• Support day-to-day estimating and construction operations remotely

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial drywall, framing, metal stud framing, or interior systems projects
• Experience supporting U.S.-based construction companies or projects
• Strong understanding of commercial construction workflows and estimating processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with New York City commercial construction or framing projects
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams
• Familiarity with commercial interiors and drywall estimating processes
