Security Surveilance Officer.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (SUMMARY) 

To monitor and manage surveillance systems, ensuring the security and safety of all RAD personnel, assets, and operations. Surveillance Operator will be responsible for real-time monitoring, incident detection, and supporting security measures to maintain a secure environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Grade 12

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CCTV operations, security monitoring, or a similar role.
• Proven knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and surveillance technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect security threats efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Must maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive security information.
• Code B Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

Operational

- Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to detect and prevent security

threats.

- Conduct real-time surveillance and report suspicious activities immediately.

- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and assist in investigations by retrieving

relevant footage.

- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.

- Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement in response to security threats.

- Support crime prevention initiatives by closely monitoring high-risk areas.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling security footage.

SURVEILLANCE CCTV

- Monitor all RAD Premises activities to ensure adherence to

all company policies, procedures and productivity are correctly executed and in terms of

the requirements and standards of the company.

- Report all violations and suspicious activities

- Submit a weekly / daily updated report with all irregular activities

- Observe the daily operations for irregular activities such as theft, dishonesty,

unproductiveness and other malicious activities.

- Act as oversight or security agents for management.
