This role is ideal for a disciplined and detail-oriented HR professional who wants to contribute to a purpose-driven organization focused on sustainability, operational excellence, and people development.
Your Quest
To support and strengthen key HR functions that shape organizational effectiveness, culture, and compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring sound HR practices, driving employee engagement, and enabling continuous improvement across people and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years' experience as an HR Practitioner or in a similar generalist HR role.
- Experience in Organizational Development and Industrial/Employee Relations.
- Strong knowledge of Namibian labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience in disciplinary processes, grievances, incapacity matters, and hearings.
- Exposure to performance management, employee engagement, and change management.
- Experience in HR policy development and compliance management.
- Experience supporting training, development, and talent initiatives.
- Strong HR reporting and analytical capability.
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Valid driver's licence, own vehicle, and Namibian citizenship.
- Professional HR body membership will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development
- Support OD initiatives, including organizational design, job evaluations, and role clarity.
- Coordinate performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
Industrial Relations
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, and incapacity processes.
- Provide advisory support on employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and manage hearing documentation.
- Monitor IR trends and support constructive labour relations engagement.
Policy & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards.
- Conduct HR policy awareness sessions and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Training & Development
- Support learning and development initiatives.
- Identify training needs from performance and HR trend analysis.
- Assist with leadership, culture, and behavioural development workshops.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Compile HR, OD, and IR reports with data-driven insights for management.
