This role is ideal for a disciplined and detail-oriented HR professional who wants to contribute to a purpose-driven organization focused on sustainability, operational excellence, and people development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with proven expertise in designing and successful training programs.
- Familiarity with both traditional and modern training methods, including mentoring, coaching, on-the job training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
- Exposure to performance management, employee engagement, and change management.
- Experience in HR policy development and compliance management.
- Experience supporting training, development, and talent initiatives.
- Strong HR reporting and analytical capability.
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Valid driver's licence, own vehicle, and Namibian citizenship.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development
- Support OD initiatives, including organizational design, job evaluations, and role clarity.
- Coordinate performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness
- Manage and improve Workplace Safety Standards
- Perform Job Safety Analysis
Policy & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards.
- Conduct HR policy awareness sessions and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Training & Development
- Support learning and development initiatives.
- Identify training needs from performance and HR trend analysis.
- Assist with leadership, culture, and behavioural development workshops.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Compile HR & OD reports with data-driven insights for management.
