PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (SUMMARY)

To oversee the operations of various off-site employees and coordinate the daily duties of personnel, ensure the efficient and effective operations of the business meet relevant statutory requirements, in accordance with adopted management plans. Create client liaison services and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of experience related to waste management activities, including three (3) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Must be self-driven and not require micromanagement
  • Building strong relationships with strategic customers.
  • Ability to identify needs and requirements to promote company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekend.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Continuously review the justification for MOS services at the identified Sites and motivate any termination of or additional Sites to be serviced.
  • Formalize official service contracts with owners/managers of the Sites.
  • MOS Shift planning and site management logistics.
  • Ensure sufficient resources are allocated to the Sites in order to render a cost effective professional service.
  • Ensure sufficient Leave Releasers to be available on a full time basis.
  • Manage the HR functions of the MoS workforce, including monthly work schedules, attendance registers, leave days, discipline and training especially Toolbox Talks.
  • Information updating on Jarison JT clocking System, ESS and SHE Manager systems.
  • MOS Payroll-overtime, nightshift.
  • Daily Site visits and where night shifts are applicable to ensure clean, organized work practices.
  • Conduct hearings and disciplinary investigations and issuing warnings when required.

GENERAL 

  • Compiling and timely submission of required reports as requested by Company management.
  • Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders and ensure timely professional feedback and follow-up on operational issues.
  • Honour all relevant stipulations of contracts and agreements between the Company and its stakeholders.
  • Maintain a well-organized administration and document filing system.
  • Assist Company management with relevant ad-hoc tasks when required.
  • Do Waste Audits at potential / current clients.
  • Debt collection- making follow-ups on unpaid accounts to ensure all accounts are up-to-date.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT AND SALES

  • Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure customer retention.
  • Create and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
  • Acquiring thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Conducting waste assessments and advising clients on the correct waste management solutions.
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their transitioning objective.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships. 
  • Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and Products.
  • Manage invoices and bills for assigned customers when necessary.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating deals and ensure quotations are sent and received.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Negotiate/close service deals with potential / current Clients.
