Waste Management | Logistics | Hazardous Waste
We are looking for a high-performing Branch Manager to join our Coastal operations. This is a highly operational, hands-on leadership role where you will act as the second pair of eyes to the Chief Operations Officer, ensuring that all waste, logistics, hazardous waste and specialized activities run with precision, discipline and safety at all times.

What You Will Do
- Oversee daily operations across waste collection, hazardous waste, transportation, disposal, offshore support activities and specialized industrial services.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize fleet utilization, operational workflows and asset performance.
- Implement strong asset management systems to improve equipment uptime and lifecycle control.
- Lead a disciplined operations team and enforce accountability and performance KPIs.
- Produce operational reports and dashboards using Excel (pivot tables essential).
- Partner closely with the COO to drive efficiency, safety, and operational stability.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and high-performance culture across the Coastal operation.
What You Bring
- NQF 7 qualification in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
- 7 years' experience in operations or logistics management.
- Experience in hazardous waste management will be an advantage.
- 3-5 years' experience in hazardous waste management.
- Exposure to oil & gas operations (onshore or offshore) will be an advantage.
- Experience working with rigging teams or in rigging environments.
- Strong background in asset and fleet management.
- 5+ years management experience in a high-pressure operational environment.
- 5+ years safety/HSE experience or solid understanding of safety systems.
- Advanced computer literacy (Excel strong skills required).
- Defensive driving training (advantageous).
- CE License (preferred).
