Position Summary:
We are seeking two highly skilled and detail-oriented Contracts and Procurement Administrators to join our team. These roles will focus on contract administration throughout the life cycle of each project, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless execution. Candidates should have a background in engineering, construction, or quantity surveying combined with expertise in business law or contracts administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Administration:
- Oversee and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, amendments, and extensions.
- Maintain accurate records of contract documentation and amendments.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders to advise on contract management procedures and ensure smooth communication and alignment on contractual issues.
- Assist stakeholders in executing effective contract administration activities, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.
* Procurement Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the project and organizational objectives.
- Ensure that procurement activities are managed effectively, achieving value for money while complying with legal and regulatory standards.
* Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract management policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to regulatory and legal requirements, mitigating any potential risks.
* Governance and Performance Management:
- Advise on the implementation of governance mechanisms to monitor contract performance.
- Track, coordinate, and improve contract administration activities across the projects, ensuring high standards of execution.
*Risk Management:
- Identify and manage contract-related risks throughout the project life cycle, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure adherence to procurement regulations and contract standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Business Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract administration, particularly within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement and contract management processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly project managers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach to contract and procurement tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of contract governance and project performance.
