Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support our client's growing office operations. Established in 2015, the company has become one of South Australia's trusted providers of metal roofing solutions. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day administrative tasks, helping maintain high standards of service across residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage daily office tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Customer Service: Handle incoming calls and emails, providing information and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Scheduling Coordination: Assist in organizing appointments, meetings, and project timelines.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project details, and inventory logs.
- Communication Liaison: Coordinate between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely information flow.
- Office Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Compliance and Safety: Support the team in adhering to workplace safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the construction or trades industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Team player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
