Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Back-end Developer with extensive experience in the development, setup, and configuration of the Simpro platform. This role focuses on optimizing Simpro's back-end functionality to meet complex operational needs, streamline workflows, and integrate the platform seamlessly with business processes. The successful candidate will configure Simpro for core functions such as scheduling, inventory management, service quoting, and data organization, enhancing automation and overall system efficiency. A solid technical background in Simpro's backend infrastructure is essential, with industry knowledge in fields like crane operations, construction, or field services as a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Simpro Backend Configuration & Setup: Lead the in-depth technical configuration of Simpro to align with specific company needs, integrating it efficiently with existing systems and workflows.
  • System Customization & Optimization: Design, test, and enhance Simpro workflows, optimizing features like scheduling, inventory tracking, and service quoting to create a seamless, customized experience.
  • Data Structuring & Management: Develop and oversee the organization of files, reports, and data within Simpro to ensure accessible, well-organized structures.
  • Automation of Manual Processes: Identify opportunities for automation in Simpro and implement workflows to streamline scheduling, inventory management, reporting, and other manual tasks.
  • Feature Deployment: Work closely with the Operations team to introduce new Simpro features and updates, focusing on technical backend implementation.
  • Data Integrity Oversight: Maintain high standards for data accuracy, conducting regular system audits to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational policies.
  • User Training & Support: Guide internal teams on backend functionalities, providing training and ensuring adherence to company standards for Simpro usage.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the back-end development, setup, and configuration of Simpro, with expertise in feature optimization and system setup.
  • Strong skills in data organization, file linking, and integration.
  • Ability to identify and automate manual processes within Simpro for improved operational efficiency.
  • Proven background in scheduling, inventory management, and purchase order control through Simpro.
  • Knowledge of technical requirements within industries such as crane operations, construction, or maintenance (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of working independently and collaborating in team settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support team members effectively.
