Technical FM Consultant

Overview

We are seeking experienced Facilities Management (FM) consultants to support strategic advisory engagements for high-profile, mixed-use developments in Saudi Arabia. These are high-impact projects involving residential, retail, office, hospitality, and public realm assets. Consultants will work remotely, with occasional site or client visits, and will be engaged on a flexible resource model.

Project Portfolio

Project A: Mixed-Use Urban Development

Focus: Residential, Retail, Office
Scope includes:

  • Defining FM operating and delivery models
  • Drafting tender documents, scopes of work, and contract schedules
  • Evaluating service provider bids and advising on commercial models
  • Supporting mobilisation of selected FM providers

Project B: Mixed-Use Destination Development

Focus: Retail, Hospitality, Public Realm
Scope includes:

  • Advising on FM strategy, governance, and service integration
  • Recommending delivery options aligned with guest experience and brand standards
  • Supporting contract design, transition planning, and vendor onboarding

Role: Technical FM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop FM scopes of services, SLAs, KPIs, and technical schedules
  • Conduct FM audits and develop asset registers
  • Advise on lifecycle planning and asset management strategies
  • Support tender documentation and bid evaluation processes
  • Contribute to FM strategy, governance, and service integration planning
  • Assist in mobilisation and transition of FM service providers

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in FM consultancy, technical services, or asset management
  • Proven experience with residential, retail, or hospitality asset classes
  • Strong understanding of FM delivery models and commercial frameworks
  • Familiarity with large-scale mixed-use or giga-projects in KSA/GCC is highly desirable
  • Excellent written English and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in remote settings

Engagement Model

  • Remote-first with flexible working arrangements
  • Periodic travel to client sites in Saudi Arabia as required
  • Day-rate or monthly retainer based on project needs and consultant availability
