The Opportunity

A well-established financial planning firm based in Central London is looking to appoint a Financial Adviser to support continued growth. This isan employed role and is ideal for a qualified adviser who enjoys managing existing client relationships while developing new opportunities in a professional, well-supported environment.

The role involves delivering comprehensive, regulated financial advice to a broad client base, covering areas such as investments, retirement planning, personal protection, and estate planning. The successful individual will inherit an existing portfolio of clients and play a key role in maintaining and expanding those relationships through high-quality, personalised advice.

You will be supported by experienced paraplanners and administrators, alongside access to structured training and development to support both technical capability and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for an existing portfolio of clients, providing ongoing, compliant financial planning advice

  • Carry out detailed client reviews to understand objectives, circumstances, and long-term goals

  • Design and implement bespoke financial planning solutions across multiple advice areas

  • Develop additional business through client engagement, referrals, and relationship management

  • Work collaboratively with internal support teams to deliver a consistent and efficient client experience

  • Ensure all advice and documentation meets regulatory and professional standards

  • Engage in ongoing learning, training, and professional development

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma Level 4 qualified in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)

  • At least one year of experience operating as a Financial Adviser

  • Background within financial services, with a minimum of three years industry experience

  • Holds a current Statement of Professional Standing

  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge across core advice areas including pensions, investments, and protection

  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to translate complex information into practical guidance for clients

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working within a team-focused environment while managing personal client responsibilities

  • Willingness to continue professional development, including progression towards Chartered status

  • Confident user of standard office software; familiarity with industry systems is beneficial but not essential
