Paraplanner (Level 4 Qualified)

Location: Brighton

Salary: £38,000-£45,000 DOE

An established and growing financial planning business is looking to appoint a skilled and qualified Paraplanner to join its collaborative team. The firm delivers holistic financial planning and tax-efficient advice to a diverse client base, including private individuals, professionals, and business owners.

This is a full-time opportunity near Brighton, operating on a hybrid basis following an initial training period.

You will work in close partnership with Financial Advisers and support functions, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality advice and client service.

Core Responsibilities

• Drafting detailed suitability reports and review documentation
• Supporting the implementation of financial planning recommendations
• Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
• Conducting technical research and investment analysis
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
• Acting as a technical resource for advisers and colleagues
• Assisting in the development and mentoring of junior team members
• Monitoring market trends and product developments
• Providing support to the Paraplanning Manager on ad hoc projects

Skills & Experience Required

• At least 3 years' experience in a paraplanning role within a financial planning environment
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
• Proficiency in industry software (e.g. Intelligent Office, CashCalc, Genovo, FE Analytics or comparable platforms)
