Data engineer Azure

Currently we are recruiting a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in a prominent e-commerce organization!

Your role will be pivotal in enhancing data quality and the accuracy of models and systems, impacting products and customer experience in various business areas. Your goal is to implement innovative solutions for our data engineering projects to enable rapid experimentation, increase the accuracy of our models, algorithms and systems and ensure high data quality to transform the client's products and customer experience. There are numerous exciting challenges and opportunities in various themes. You will work with the team to build a modern, automated and data engineering-centric function for your colleagues in marketing, product, e-commerce, and operations to get things done.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Adhering to the Data Platform's policy and standards as set by the Head of Data Integration and the Data Architect.
• Ensuring data is provided correctly, maintaining the highest quality, and complying with GDPR and local legislation for PII data.
• Building, improving, and maintaining data pipelines and the Data Platform.
• Inspiring and supporting the Data Integration Team to maximize their contribution.
• Ensuring high standards of quality across data integration, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and process efficiency.
• Creating synergy within the organization to achieve optimal performance and collaboration across business units.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Expertise in SQL, Azure data platform, data warehousing.
• Knowledge in GIT, CI/CD, Apache Spark, Python, Databricks, Airflow.
