About Us

We are creating a network of qualified and experienced educators for future academic opportunities across third-level institutions in Ireland and the UK. This includes universities, institutes of technology, and technological universities governed by national education acts.

This talent pool is specifically designed for academics who are eligible for employment permits under the Irish system and wish to contribute to innovation and excellence in higher education.

Eligibility Criteria (Ireland):

To be considered for roles eligible for an Irish employment permit under SOC Code 2311, applicants must meet the following:

• Hold a qualification equivalent to Level 10 of the National Framework of Qualifications (typically a PhD)

• The qualification must have been awarded at least two calendar years prior to application

• Have a minimum of one academic year of relevant teaching experience

• The employment must be:

  • In a third-level institution governed by the Irish Universities Act 1997, Institutes of Technology Act 2006, or Technological Universities Act 2018, or

  • Involve delivering an ICT-related programme that leads to a major award at QQI Level 8 and/or 9, validated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• PhD or equivalent (Level 10 NFQ) in a relevant discipline

• At least one year of academic teaching experience

• A strong research and/or publication record (desirable)

• Commitment to academic excellence and student engagement

• Eligibility for employment visa in Ireland and/or the UK, based on above criteria
