A well-established precast concrete manufacturer is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter (Formworker) / Precast Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience beyond general labour to step into a more advanced and better-rewarded role. While a background in concrete or formwork is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble custom timber moulds for precast concrete components

  • Construct and assemble formwork to meet required specifications and drawings

  • Assist in setup and preparation for concrete pours

  • Strip and demould precast products

  • Grind and polish concrete surfaces to the required finish

  • Maintain and care for moulds to ensure consistent production standards

  • Operate machinery and tools safely (relevant tickets an advantage)

  • Work collaboratively with design and production teams to ensure precision and quality

Requirements:

  • Experience in carpentry, formwork, or precast concrete is highly desirable

  • Ability to read and follow construction drawings and measurements

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards

  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work on own initiative

  • Comfortable working independently and within a team environment

  • Valid machinery tickets are beneficial but not essential
