Security Architect (WFH)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive security architectures for IT systems, networks, and applications to defend against potential threats.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks within an organization’s IT environment.
• Ensure that security practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and implement incident response plans to address and mitigate security breaches or other threats.
• Assess and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s defense mechanisms.
• Educate employees on security best practices and raise awareness about potential threats.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
• Ability to analyse complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Stay informed about current and emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Experience in roles such as security analyst, security engineer, network engineer, or systems administrator
• Manage security projects from conception through implementation, including resource allocation and timeline management.
