Responsibilities:

As the Head of Social Strategist, your primary responsibility will be to implement and plan Social Media best practices and digital content strategies for one of our major tech clients, encompassing new business opportunities.

This role involves active participation in a diverse range of fast-paced projects from inception to completion, including hands-on project management, ad hoc social media consultations, crafting strategic recommendations, and monitoring and optimizing strategies.

Develop strategies for social and digital content based on a deep understanding of the client's brand message, voice, objectives, and target demographics.

Offer creative and strategic insights for social and digital projects.

Collaborate closely with account and creative teams to execute strategies tailored to both B2C and B2B needs.

Provide oversight and support to Content Strategists and Community Management teams to align with strategic objectives.

Conduct ongoing monitoring and auditing of Social Media strategies for existing clients as part of the continuous optimization process.

Analyze data from various analytical and monitoring tools to continually optimize account performance.

Stay abreast of social media trends to adapt strategies and content based on the latest platform updates and innovations.

Work with the Data team to develop crisis management and control protocols.

Handle social expertise requests for pitches and new business projects.

Identify business opportunities and devise appropriate solutions.

Take a leadership role with clients as needed, offering valuable strategic insights.

Offer thought leadership on current and future social media marketing best practices, integrating AI, cultural context, trends, and conversations, while considering the synergy between social listening and content creation.

Implement security controls for team processes and systems, ensuring compliance with information security policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in digital environments, including roles such as Digital Planner or Social Media Strategist.

Experience in team/people management.

Thorough understanding of Social Media landscape, formats, and trends.

Proficiency in crafting Social Media strategies and defining roles for various platforms.

Ability to comprehend digital audiences and their behaviors.

Expertise in measuring success and determining relevant metrics based on objectives, digital channels, and formats.

Proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to extract valuable insights.

Ability to balance strategic and tactical thinking.

Familiarity with research and analysis tools like Sysomos, Statista, Global Web Index, Facebook Insights, or Socialbakers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Capable of presenting information and ideas clearly and persuasively.

Curiosity about and attentiveness to popular culture, with a continuous learning mindset.
