About the job Sr. Videographer & Editor - Creative Agency

The Sr. Videographer & Editor will capture, edit, and produce video and other multimedia assets in order to drive in support of the agency and the respective clients. You will be required to have advanced skills in media capture and creative editing with a fine eye for storytelling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for brand-led content videos, product marketing videos and other video formats.

Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects

Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables

Plan video shoots; scout, select, and reserve shoot locations

Develop production schedules

Select and hire additional crew and talent; direct and coach talent; make transportation arrangements for crew, talent and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met

Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management, and archiving project media

Manage video library

Evaluate analytics

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Familiarity with professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and photography.

Must have experience with Audio including small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track, and waveform editing.

Post-production entails digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.

Must submit a Directors/Editors reel to be considered

Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional directing & editing experience

Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative applications (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)

Expert level ability when using best-in-class cameras, audio gear & lighting techniques

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

The constant development of skills and exploration of new techniques, and an ability to share skills with the team

Excellent communication skills, positive attitude & experience working with executive-level clients
