We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our ICU and Medical-Surgical units. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, managing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Organize, direct, and supervise daily functions of the ICU and Med-Surg units.

Ensure policies and procedures are followed to support safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery.

Monitor and manage patient throughput to support optimal clinical flow.

Staffing & Resource Management:

Maintain safe staffing levels and oversee appropriate scheduling.

Ensure sufficient supply and equipment availability to support unit operations.

Promote staff engagement, development, and competency validation.

Leadership & Communication:

Serve as a key liaison between nursing staff, the Unit Director, and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), ensuring clear communication of operational needs and updates.

Support an environment that encourages team collaboration and professional growth.

Quality & Performance Improvement:

Lead initiatives in evidence-based clinical practice and performance improvement projects.

Monitor and improve patient safety and care quality through data-driven approaches.

Oversee compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards.

Facilitate orientation, training, and ongoing development of unit staff.

Ensure annual competencies and licensure requirements are met.

Qualifications:
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license [Insert State] (required)

Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN or leadership certification preferred

Minimum 35 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (ICU and/or Med-Surg experience strongly preferred)
