Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Residential Engineer specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering to oversee a data centre construction project in Johor Bahru. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of high-quality M&E systems tailored to data centre requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems for the data centre, including HVAC, electrical power distribution, fire suppression, and other critical systems.

2. Review and verify M&E designs, shop drawings, and specifications to meet data centre standards.

3. Monitor contractor performance and ensure work complies with project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.

4. Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve technical issues proactively.

5. Collaborate with project consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

6. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E works, preferably in data centre projects or similar high-tech facilities.

• Strong knowledge of data centre M&E systems, industry standards, and regulations.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
