About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Manager to lead our talent acquisition and human resources operations during this exciting phase of rapid expansion. This strategic role will be instrumental in building a high-performing, mission-aligned workforce while ensuring operational excellence across all HR functions.
As a key leadership team member, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle while developing innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee all HR functions including onboarding, policy development, payroll coordination, and HRIS management
- Ensure strict compliance with Philippine labor laws (DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for corporate, technical, and field positions
- Optimize sourcing channels including digital platforms, recruitment agencies, and academic partnerships
- Implement structured hiring processes with standardized assessments and interviews
- Build talent pipelines for critical roles to support business growth
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Select and manage relationships with recruitment agencies, background check providers, and benefits administrators
- Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost-effective, high-quality talent acquisition
- Collaborate with department heads to align hiring with business objectives
Learning & Development
- Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs
- Implement professional development programs and career pathing initiatives
- Establish performance evaluation frameworks to support employee growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in recruitment leadership
- Proven track record in high-volume hiring and workforce scaling, preferably in tech or startups
- Expert knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong experience with HRIS implementation and data-driven HR strategies
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build trust at all organizational levels
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field
